Many thanks to the MUD Make-up Artists who helped make the annual fundraiser event with Mending Kids International a total success. Mending Kids International (MKI) helps raise the funds needed for life saving surgeries for children around the world whose family simply can’t afford the procedures or live in impoverished countries where the facilities aren’t available.
MKI and the Malibu Guild honor the late Dorothy Lucey, former host of Good Day LA. The emcee for the evening, Nia Peeples, also featured a 30 piece fashion show by designer Beryll (link: http://beryll.com/collection/index.html) and American Apparel. This particular event raised money for upcoming surgery missions and the new Hometown Mission for kids in the US.
MUD students and grads helped put the shine and sparkle on the beautiful models, while MUD products were also presented to guests. Thanks to Syeira Simon, the key artist along with her crew, for representing MUD and helping to make the event a moment to remember. MUD Artists included: Cat Paschen, Claire Wilson, Anne Beckette, Audrey Ramos, Kelly McLauren, Harmony Swink, Morgan McDonnell, Taschil Nell, Deborah Cameron, Ana Sanchez, Nico Gonzalez, Jordan Sweeney, and Richard Orozco.
